The reefs are accessed right off the beach in front or by a short boat trip and they are many and exceptional. The protected bays have lovely gardens of hard corals as well as a variety of fish.

Barefoot Manta have been growing hard coral for over many years and have a marine biologist often resident.
its possible to visit the farm by arrangement.

Barefoot Manta Island Resort Fiji offers guests a selection of international and Fiji inspired cuisine. Ingredients are sourced locally from the Yaswasa Islands including sustainable fresh fish with fruit and vegetables grown in the resort's own gardens and any additional ingredients required sourced from the mainland.
Be sure to try the traditional Fiji dish Kokoda. Fish marinated in lemon or lime juice, submerged in coconut milk with spring onion, tomato and for those who like spice a little chilli too. Served chilled Kododa is refreshing, tropical cuisine at it's best.
For guests arriving on the ferry service from Port Denarau/Nadi lunch is included on day 1. For houseguests returning on the ferry to Port Denarau/Nadi on their day of departure and requesting lunch, an additional lunch is FJ$35 per adult, FJ$17.50 per child and free for infants.
Additional Adults requiring an extra bed will attract an additional bed charge of FJ$75 per person per night, Children (aged 3-12yrs) will incur and additional bed charge of FJ$40 per child per night

Our Vai (Manta Ray) Beach Dorms are just metres from the beach, ideal for that pre-breakfast swim, with waters over 24c why not. There are only 7 beds per dorm room with a bedding configuration of 3 singles and 2 bunks. Lockers are available for valuables with a padlock available from reception for a nominal fee.
